ApotheCurly Salon was born out a simple dream- To Help all people embrace their hairs natural texture for lived in, Low-maintenance, effortless hair.
In 2026 that dream came true, to open a salon specializing in textured hair and allowing stylists and clientele to be in an education-focused salon environment.
The goal isnt a salon full of curl specialists- But a salon full of stylists who can hone in their craft for every hair type, every time. No guessing.

Krista opened ApotheCurly salon in 2020 in a private salon suite in Davidson NC and moved to the Winston-Salem Area in 2026.
She is a lover of all creatures, a proud mom and a avid lover of the outdoors.
When not in the salon you will find her with her family and pets doing some sort of craft or traveling.

Caliope Auclair
Meet Cali! She's been in the hair world since 2018. She loves super textured cuts like shags, fun vivids (especially block coloring), "lived in" blondes, working with curls, and making everyone who sits in her chair feel more confident with their rejuvenated hair.
Cali's current hourly rate is $65
Melody Banos-Damian
Melody Is our in-house apprentice taking clients on Thursdays and Fridays! A Winston-Salem Native, she has been doing hair for some time focusing on color and curls. When not in the salon, you can find her baking and crafting. She is a lover of bee's, plants, and all things culinary.
Melody's current hourly rate is $45

Two-day in-person class for stylists who want to master curly haircuts that grow out beautifully, reduce the “triangle effect,” and encourage healthier, fuller curls — no more guessing.

What hair types do you specialize in?
We specialize in all natural textures, from loose waves to tight coils, focusing on health and ease of styling for your day to day life. Each stylist has their own speciality and niche, but all stylists are trained in all textures.
How do I book an appointment?
All bookings are handled online. Click 'Book Now' to view current availability and select your service and stylist.
What is the no-gratuity policy?
We believe in transparent, all-inclusive pricing. Our rates reflect the full value of the service without extra tips or surprises.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a 24 hour cancellation policy. Canceling in less than 24 hours will result in a full charge of the service to the card on file.
How should I wear my hair to the appointment?
Please wear your hair down and styled as you normally do. We want to see how YOU wear your hair to help determine the cut.
For wash and style services, please ensure your hair is detangled.
What services do you offer?
We offer specialized dry cutting, texture treatments, custom coloring, and educational curl coaching sessions.
